The Congress will take place at Auditorium della Tecnica, which is located in the EUR neighbourhood, specifically planned for the Universal Exhibition of Rome in 1942, which was cancelled due to the outbreak of the war, has a distinctive exhibition and conference connotation.
Auditorium della Tecnica was built with the idea of concentrating all public activities and new Ministries in this neighbourhood, alongside the headquarters of the major companies and institutions. The building was designed by Architect Vincenzo Monaco and the interiors and technical facilities by Pierluigi Spadolini.
The auditorium was inaugurated on 30 May 1974 and in 2016 it underwent important refurbishing works, which turned this prestigious space in a state-of-the-art venue. The structure, the internal spaces and the beautiful terrace on the top floor, named after Giuseppe Capogrossi, the artist who created the gigantic mosaic, make this one of the leading conference venues in Rome.
